TEAM Network (Transdisciplinary European Art Magazines) : Network Meeting & Young Critic’s Academy
TEAM is the acronym of Transdisciplinary European Arts Magazines, a European network of art magazines initiated in 2006 by the French magazine Mouvement. During Festival Complicitats, TEAM Network will gather in Barcelona for a two-day meeting. From February 20th until the 26th, Festival Complicitats will organize with TEAM Network a Young Critic’s Academy, led in Barcelona by Katja Praznik (Maska) and Tiago Bartolomeu Costa (Obscena).
In the Young Critic’s Academy, 15 local participants - young editors, publishers or independent writers - are invited to follow the festival for a full week and write about its different performances and propositions. The texts written by each of the Academy participants will be discussed later within the group, allowing a very needed space for professional exchange and feedback among contemporary art critics.
